Painful fingers

Since last year I’ve had trouble with pain In my hands and fingers. In the morning they are very stiff and painful and moving them is painful too. I see my rheumatologist on the 20th of this much so I’m going to tell him about it as the pain is getting worse I am 22 and can’t even manage to open things sometimes!

Sorry to hear about that in one so young.

Diet can be a contributory factor in arthritis.

I think there is an arthritis site on HU -so maybe you might get more help there.

I do hope you can get over this.

I have a friend who experienced this all her life- and she went on to be a doctor and is still alive after 70 years. So maybe hope somehow?!

Good luck - and don't give up- there is a lot of research out there- and always hope.

Hi Lauren. I'm much older than you - in my 60's. I have some arthritis in my lower back, and in one of my hands. I know about the difficulties in opening things!

My daughter is 41now but she's had Arthritis since her 20's. Started with sudden severe lower back pain. She now has it in both her hips, lower spine, and hands. Although it's uncommon in young people, arthritis doesn't just effect 'old people' like me!

She works full time and remains active. With 3 kids, she has to!

Do lots of research, and I'm sure you'll find a way to feel better and cope with your situation.

Hi I too suffor from pain and lack of movement in my hands ,amongst other things.

Depending on the weather I get trigger fingure manly in my thumb but can feel the effect in my fiingures as well.

I'm on very strong painkillers for spinal issues, but get so frustrated with my hands.

The one thing I've found that makes a hudge difference is CBD oil just 2 drops 4 times a day and after a week the relief is wonderful. It is legal in the UK I got mine from Holland and barrets, but their are much better suppliers on line. I ran out 4 days ago and can feel it coming back. I'm very sceptical by nature so wasn't expecting much from this stuff.

I have to say it really does work. I hope you find this helpful and thst it works for you too
