A short time ago, I signed myself off the pain clinic list because I didn't want to take any of the addictive painkillers they were offering (very topical in the news currently!) The nurse said that she admired my strength and determination and suggested I watched this video

Work in progress 😁I have refused to take mind-altering, addictive painkillers on top of my many meds to treat pay RA. I work full-time and try to keep active.
Loads 😂but they are specific to my RA: methotrexate injection, Cimzia injection, sulfasalazine tablets, folic acid tablet, omeprazole, vits d,c,b12, calcium, paracetamol and etoricoxib (an anti-inflammatory) plus some like glucosamine and omega 3 fish oil! So yes- I do rattle and leak a little, but my mind is my own🤣
Lorimer Moseley has always talked sense about pain and how the body reacts to it. Sometimes the physical activity just isn't possible and trying to retrain the brain to say it is only causes more damage to your body. Even he admits that.
Too much about strong meds and addiction has been written in the press. Best place for that info is dustbin.
