Has anyone had an injection for a trapped nerve in the neck?

I've been in agony for 2months now

Finally had an MRI

And now awaiting appointment for injection

I had bad neck problems, have an asthma attack and was given IV steroids and prednisone tabs to take at home within 3 days all my neck problems were gone... I cancelled my appt for the injections I wanted to try for my neck pain.. seems it's all about information

I also have trapped nerves in neck and was referred for injections. I have not gone to have it yet. What kind of symptoms are you having?

Pins and needles and numbness down my left arm,and feels like it's burning.

Index finger cold and numb.

Yes, I had nerve block injections because my pain goes right up into my head and it's uncomfortable resting my head on anything.

The injections were without any numbing or sedating, and were really painful, but only last for 30 seconds or so. The effects lasted for approx 3 months, but then back to square one again.
