Stomache pain : Ok so I've been having lower... - Pain Concern
Stomache pain
Number one SCREAM get it out of your system. Ok now number two there must be someone one you can bring those x-rays to so they can be read. They are your
X-ray just to put your anxiety a peace until your doctor can read them. You can just say you want a second opinion, that would not be a lie.
If the receptionist can't interpret your results, which aren't her business, she shouldn''t tell you there's nothing to worry about.
If your pain is severe, ask your GP practce for an emergency appointment, or go to A&E.
There is something that GPs often call the 6 o'clock phone call. They review all the results that have come in for the day earlier in the day, and if one of them is urgent, they call the patient at 6 o'clock that evening after they have finished the regular appointments.
You results will have been reviewed by the GP already, and they haven't called you straight away, so that means that they aren't urgent and can wait until you have a regular appointment. That will be what the receptionist means by saying they are nothing to be overly worried about.
So yes, it does make you want to scream but that is how primary care works.
The most excruitiating pelvic pain couldn't be found on any X-ray or scan. It took Me 5 years to figure out that My gabapentin was the source of the pain!! I first check to side effects of any medicine I take. I started Amy 4. 5 years ago! Got a new Primary because I moved and He upped My gabapentin from an already too high a mg of 3200 to 3600 mg! I was already having problems but was told by every single Doctor that it couldn't be gabapentin. I'm quoting here. It's a safe and effective for pain relief!! It's like a quote all Doctors use! Yet I doubled over, had severe brain fog and couldn't think! FINALLY after I had a seizure a Neurologist at the ER asked if I was crazy taking that amount plus oxicarbizapine! Plus pain meds and clinazepam!! So I cut 1200 mg way too much but I did at one time. Yea!! Pain relief! Finally! Less opiates and no clonazepam because I didn't need them!! Just a suggestion! Good luck!
Wow I glad you finally got some help doesn’t it figure it’s a ER Doctor that caught that error I have figured it out what medicines were not working and just got off of them I know you’re supposed to get of in increments but this was one I had just started and I was getting a bad reactment to it and non of the doctors New what was making me have this reaction I figured it out and got off. What a mouth full bye for now
So now I apparently have a bulky cervix ??
