Do you have diabetes? Only this sounds like Peripheral Neuropathy. The reason I ask this is my husband used to get that and also sometimes there would be no feeling there. He doesn't have it now his Type2 diabetes is so well controlled it's like he doesn't have it now.

Also, this could be nerve damage coming from your lumbar spine we ladies that suffer the debilitating spinal stenosis know how experience it can cause different feelings in the legs & feet - tingling numbness pain etc.

I do think you should get it checked out and pay a visit to your doctor to see what the underlying problem is?

Don't worry yourself too much about it. It just might be a mild thing and go as soon as it came.

Let us know how you get on Maise?

Might be Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. This is due to the nerves firing and can cause extremities to feel either hot or cold. Worth googling it for more info

There are two types of CRPS. Type I and Type II. One can cause a burning sensation, the other can make an extremity feel very cold and can alter from one to the other over time. Here's a forum where a lady describes her foot feeling like it's been put in ice. healthboards.com/boards/ref...

get a tennis ball and an old pair of tights and put the ball into the foot of the tights. sit on a chair and put the ball under your foot and hold the tights at a distance where you can sit up straight on the chair. now roll your foot all over the ball going over the sides toes heel middle of foot and just keep rolling gently and then change to the other foot. this is a great exercise for wakening up the nerves in the foot and also ironing out any foot pain. be gentle and just press your foot as much as is comfortable. you should also find this very relaxing as your massaging all of your meridians. its a bit like reflexology. this is very very enjoyable. and for everyone even if your feet are not sore as it keeps the ciruclation going among other things. im sure this will help bring the proper feelings back into your feet regarding hot and cold. love grace. xoxoxo
