The lower part of my ribs has been hurting in the back area as I walk or lay down, I find it hard to straighten up and I walk bent over, I'm just after spending 2 weeks fighting with the flu and these symptoms started occurring 3 days ago. I don't know what's happening anyone have any idea?

nasty I 've had similar. No idea what. I do have arthritis, so put it down to that - pain pill - topical pain killer deep heat arthritis cream - fixed it to get to sleep. 1 day or so later gone. Arthritis tends to pop up all over not just joints moves about so likely this - back too.

Go see GP Re back asap if still painful now.

Hi it sounds like this is linked to infection/virus. If a cough develops I get pain there. Take care
