Are you sure you are doing exercise that's appropriate to your back problems. Sounds like Pilates with an experienced teacher would be better. You don't know what damage you might be doing.

A physiotherapist should advise you about exercise appropriate to your condition. I would suggest laying off the gym routines until then.

You poor thing I have prolapsed (bulging) disc. Soo painful I see the neuro surgeon on Monday excruciating and eye watering pain. I hope you get some relief. I will let you know how I get on!

My doctor prescribed Valium in a small dose this does help me manage it. Good luck.

See an Alexander Teacher. They should be able to help you with managing your condition.

I would also suggest a McTimony chiropractor. They can deal with any muscle spasms that are causing pressure on the pro-lapse disc area.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your lovely replys. I go the gym to mainly keep myself fit. I dont do any back excersises as such just plenty of cv work. I will definitely look in to seeing a chiropodist thanks guys x
