Iv been looking into ways of reducing my neck/ backpain & came across some hopefully reviews on the root Turmeric iv decided to give it s go! Apparently its just as effective at reducing inflammation as ibuprofen the pills seem to be quite expensive so iv ordered 200gm of the root to use instead of ibuprofen im just waiting for it to get delivered i will let you all know if it makes any difference apparently ginger and a little black pepper with the mix in warm milk and cinnamon . I want to try all things natural iv got nothing to lose and perhaps it will help :-)

There has been quite a bit of discussion on various forums here. If it is any help - just type in Turmeric into the box and posts will come up.

I've not listened for a while but do remember some good chats. Always plus and minus!

Hi Kitchard, that sounds like a good cocktail to relieve inflammation. I do a herbal tea concoction similar, no milk as that causes more chestiness. Hope it works for you. Most things need to be taken regularly to help, just like drugs do.Trial and error to find the best for you.

I make Turmeric Golden Paste and am having really good results from it for pain and inflammation and increased blood flow to my extremities. Have a look here turmericlife.com.au for the recipe and lots of other information. It explains how to make the Golden Paste which takes about 10 minutes, the importance of the curcumin percentage in the Turmeric you buy and how using cold pressed coconut oil or olive oil and freshly ground black pepper makes the Turmeric much more effective. Hope you have success with pain relief.

They also have a Facebook page which is brilliant too facebook.com/groups/4153137...

Hi this is the first time I have posted here. I have osteoarthritis, Lupus, and Fibro amongst other things. I am always interested in finding natural remedies that may help inflamation and have tried turmeric but found it quite bitter. However I came accross a site called Turmelicious that makes chocolate drinks with turmeric and have been trying them for 2 weeks. Its early days so the verdict is still out. Just thought I would share
