I was also getting really bad pains in my feet and left leg to the point that i couldn't walk, this went on for a few years alongside with other things. I to am not a diabetic, but while in hospital they found that my B12 level was really low, and was put on injections straight away when i got back home. , then you you have an injection every three months or until your level is back up again...My B12 which is for your neurological side which you get from red meats and dairy foods, if not eaten you can run the risk of B12 deficiency which if left untreated for to long cannot be reversed which will get rid of allot of other problems that will come with it,as in sore mouths and gums palpitations in your chest, bleeding gums etc etc, those went but the damage to my nerves in my feet and my leg couldn't... So to cause neuropathy which is nerve damage, will either be from Diabetes, or B12. or you can be born with this problem. You need to get the doctor to send you for a complete full blood test, which will show your B12 levels, then if they are low you will be treated accordingly with cabelin injections which are a pink in colour, i'm not sure if i have spelt it correct. hope this has helped you some, i can't see why your doctor hasn't thought of this before now, as it can get worse if it is due to B12. mine was found just in time so the man said who was conducting the tests, mine is minor so he said and that's bad enough.

For any pain I recommend acupuncture. No prescription painkillers had any effect on the pain in my foot leg hip back. Acupuncture was the only thing that helped by the first session. It turns out my pain was caused by a cyst on L4-L5. It s getting better with every session.

I hope you give it a try.

You could ask your Dr to change your gabba to 'Lyrica' also called Pregablin. I've now changed overand find Pregablin much better.

Do you feel the knee pain and cramps in your leg are the result of wearing the super feet insoles? They could have changed the way you walk resulting in your knee pain. Check you are not Going short on certain minerals that could be causing the cramps. The only drug that I know of that causes cramps is an Osteporosis one but I expect there are others. Or again maybe the insoles have something to do with it.

I am the same and have been taking Gabapentin and co-codamol but lately it does not seem to help. I have tried wearing rocker trainers as they used less actual movement in my foot when walking but alas this too seems be be helping less lately I do think it's the way we walk trying to avoid the pain that causes trouble with the leg above I know have really bad pains in my knee when walking. I am no help I know but if I find an answer I will put it on here as I am sure there are a few of us that would like answers

Thanks your probably right the gabapentin seemed to help about a week and now it's not and I hate to keep taking more and more of it

was thinking more of increasing gabapentine, low dose amitriptyline to start with. perhaps considering cocodamol or tramadol

Epsom salt is said to work well not tried it yet but read a lot about it
