Your leg can seem longer if your pelvis is a bit twisted.

Ring the rheumatologists secretary and be very nice to her (sorry but this is often how it works). Tell her you are in so much pain and have a family to look after. Ask for any cancellations.

Sounds like you may have Fibromyalgia too. Hope you are going to a pain clinic? If not please do, it helps make life more bearable. Hoping you get some answers and relief sweetheart!!! xxx Mitzi

hang in there for the rheumatologist appointment. 12 weeks is the usual target waiting time, so you just have to try and last out. I'm guessing that they want to check whether you actually have inflammatory arthritis in addition to those disc problems. If thats the case then there is treatment for it.

went for mri at darlington hospital in may 2013 got results in april 2014 doctor had results all that time and didn't tell me EVENTUALLY found out what was causing back pain degenerate wear in facet joints in back ,what else does the doctors not tell you

in reply toderek1964

Makes you wonder Derek! My GP told me after my MRI scan that I had degenerative disc disease but that isn't an illness its just normal wear and tear and everyone over age of 35 has it.Now he says my x ray results on painful normal left knee has come back abnormal but this means normal if over age of 40! I said why does it say abnormal then? He said some normal is classed as abnormal. Pmsl, next time I saw him he said"how are you today? I replied "normal".He said "why are you here then? I said oh sorry thought I said abnormal. HE just gave me a funny look!
