she put on end of letter no need to see again has no sign of spondylorthritis????no wonder I am sooooo confused!!but my gp says I haven't no a.s.what they were looking for!!!there's spondylosis in there..ohn I've scoliosis too..has well has 2 disc excured out..and 3 slipped discs????? Ehhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Someone has to help me understand why am I like this!!!!no one has explain a thing!!!oh did I knew notttt////I was born with scoliosis..? No I wasn't...I've had 7 yep 7 MRI scans..no one till now has said this!!what ever it is!!!!!!!help me !!!!please....I need to no..its eating me up..oh the pregapentin are sorta working..my hip feels ouuta joint again:-[ full leg muscle sore..no haven'tgone nuts with cleaning.although iI did other day...any one with similar props iiiii nnnneeed yooou...

Ohh the spondylorthritis and other spondy names all in my MRI last one..what I can gather this scan is worse then last and only few months ago.........
Louise, please try to spell directly from the letter if you have a copy. I know you say you can't spell but can you copy what is in there?

OK so went to this rumo..she had no into at all on me..good job I took my MRI letter...I told her I can feel like falling to sleep at wheel..comes over me..looked at my back said straight away I've scoliosis...??? I didn't before...I've a enlargement of my s1 joint...???and spondylorthritis... And server degaertive spine deasese.. Discs out..not to let no back spec list touch me...has have bad scarel damage.. No idea why I've joint pain??so got letter today said what I put above and few more stuff about discs out..lower..then at end said no need to see has no spondylorthritis??? Although she has it down in has diagnosed???? I need to knew what these are ....?????
Hi Louise, I notice someone commented on the spelling, but looking at the words, I have to ask if this is dyslexia? This is because letters are often in the wrong order which is not just someone with poor spelling. Do you sometimes spell something and you know it looks wrong but don't know how to make it right? I too have lumber spondylosis, degenerative disc desease and scoliosis I know how you are suffering I cry with pain. I have tried most of the pain medications and after a few days they make me ill back to the doctors to try something new. I have today been given duragesic pain patches I do hope they work. Oh ...cloggs...your fantasic O thanks..can you tell me what they mean ..I too have been in so much pain..few week ago started with tummy pains..meds gotta be..I think I need a patch too...so you hurt too..??its not in my head!!!!the pain is there with this..I too have multiple level DDD.. All the pain stared when I was 23.. Got bad when 30.. Now 38.. Just been on pregapentin.. Helps with this disc excursion on my s1 nurve..sciatica... But all s just bidding the prop....please keep in touch.?I feel so alone..get no careing from GPS.... Xxplease let me knew what works etc..oh and what it means
As you are desperate and cannot understand your GP can I suggest you look up the words in the letter on the internet. Wikypedia (I can't spell either!) or other sites will inform you about the disease.
Its great news that you do not have spondyloarthritis. Your GP now has the rheumatologists letter and you need to make an appointment to discuss how your pain can best be managed. Your GP needs to go through the letter with you and answer your questions.
Calceolaria.. No I have got it..its on my MRI...but rumo wrote I haven't ???its on my MRI..don't think she's with it has on diagnosed.. It says scoliosis... Spondylorthritis.. And spondylosis........ That's what saying!!!!!hhhheeeeellllpppp:-\ xxxxthats why confused..
MRIs need someone to interpret them who knows what they are doing. Did the rheumatologist see your MRI?

Sorry I didn't reply last night. I have had this horrible condition for the last 18 years getting worse over the last 3 years when I had a coach accident so it would be unfair for me to give you advice. I was very fortunate to find a very good physiotherapist all those years ago and he keeps me mobile he's worth every penny I pay. As Calceolaria has said you need the MRI results explained to you. I have a print of of mine ask your doctor to give you yours if you don't have it. I spoke to my consultant who said there was an operation I could have done but it would only ease the pain in my leg not my back and it was risky his advice was not to have it. If only my body didn't reject the medication well I'm trying the pain patch hope they work. I'm very sorry you are suffering please keep in touch I will always answer. Take care xxx

No I went to bed soon after too..I don't knew though why I am like this..I haven't been in a accident//the rumo said I must off to have my back in this mess..I am getting desspret now.?since in my early 20 s..started with lower back props..then ribbs etc..got to 30 finally sent me physio..at this point had no MRI...physio said my upper back was very stiff for weeks she got on my back got her hands and pushed hard at the bones going down my back..gave me exercise to do...went away ..then my lower back came back ..legs hips.bum..sent to spine care..they did a MRI.?came back said I've DDD deasese.. Did things like needles in my back..sides etc./no scolisis were mention at this point!!! After 2 year of different stuff..they said don't knewv what's causing this!!!but operation went ahead!!!well when I woke.?I was told very sorry my spine is worse then they thought..had to take a lot of bone away???have spine of 65 year old???was left worse...2 year past..kept going gp.. Couldn't sit at this point..my ribb pain now back..sent me for MRI last October..all spine doc said was I've a disc excurded out sitting on my s1 nurve!!need a op.. Of course was in loads of pain!!it did ease by time my op came around..told go physio in mine time..he said bet my job you have a.s...sent me for MRI again..that's when..it had spondylorthritis on it/.scoliosis.And spondylosis....?????? I am really up set no one has told me why am I like this..oh I've 2 disc excured now..has well since my last scan only few months ago!!so its getting bad..why can't the GPS see that.. He said I was born with scoliosis???? No wasn't///if so its never been on my MRIs in past..its been like this since my back got bad..I noticed my hips and legs different sizes.. Think I would of noticed before..but they saying I haven't a.s..so so head in sand...I will pay private to get help...it hurts to breath in...my ribbs feel stuck...why am I like this xxxxxO O O O Ineed help..

Hi sorry is your name Poppy ... It's so sad how you are suffering I thought I had problems. I had cancer at 42 and everything snowballed with me from that but I am much older than you but we all want a good quality of life. I do think you need to talk all this through with your doctor you need answers. I have had my pain patch on for nearly 24 hours and my pain has not been to bad so I hope I don't have a reaction. And scoliosis.oh and a enlargement of s1 joint..and 2 disc excursion s.and other normal discs out..went back to doc today..I've to wait to see neurosurgery man.. Has need more tests???my hip felt like it poped ouuta joint other day..thought nothing of it..looked in mirror and my hip its a mile ouuta place to other..sick of doctors all telling me different....iI've all above and bit more on my MRI..so knew all that's true...can I ask how you got to knew your spondylorthritis??? Has physio etc says def.. Have???think they need more tests..told I deft have arthirits.. I asked doc today why in 4 months my backs gotten worse??he couldn't answer!!!getting sick!!Ivery ill... I feel so ill most days...my upper spine feels so dam sore..stiff..can't crack the pain away has my lower backs so bad xxx

I'm glad your seeing someone who will answer your questions. Take someone with you or write your questions down and don't leave until you get your questions answered. I had to go and have X-rays on my hip Tuesday. 2 years ago I had to have a knee replacement and they think it has put pressure on my hip. Is it the pain that's the problem it was with me I'm on my 2 nd patch it seems to be working just feeling a little dizzy but I can cope with that. Lots of hugs.cloggs xxx
I got copies of all of my results and took them with me when I went to see a (recommended) chiropracter. He was brilliant and as part of the initial session, he went through and explained things in layman terms. I have a combination of DDD in all C and S with arthritis filling in the disc spaces, and the nerve pain was being overlooked for ages . Hosp were useless, GP good, but the constant pain and frustrations took several years of life away from me and the family. It will cost to go privately, but it is a fall back when nerves trap for me, especially as mine is inoperable.

Louise, obviously we are not doctors and cannot give medical advice but it might be useful to type a copy of the MRI report you received. We might be able to interpret the medical language. It can help to put the diagnosis into context.
I am saying this because I find it strange that the MRI would diagnose inflammatory arthritis, yet the rheumatologist would disagree. So, if you say exactly what it said on the MRI report, it might help.
That said, you really need a medical professional who knows your history to explain this to you. Who ordered the scan?

Sorry to say I am in a funny mood tonight. I think it is something to do with not being able to do the garden at the moment.

Hi border riever. Thanks got a new letter from that rumo today.she wants me now to see the gp.has just told me I've ostoarithites. Prop spelt that wrong!!!in lower spine.and them solisis and spondylorthritis. Multiple DDD. Epudual scar damage.and stuff. 2 page ..sick of it all.oh not to go and have more neurosurgery? Has been left worse damage.. Why can't one person in NHS tell me what all this crap means??but its my dam life.bones ..I am bloody sore..been away 3 week.told need to go pain clinic now.????
