I'm guessing that Vicks might have similar properties to something like deep heat which can help with pain. and if you've got a headache from stuffy sinuses it might relieve that a bit. It's just a guess though. Back to the old days of your nan rubbing a bit of Vicks on your chest for everything from a cold to tummy ache, eh?

All I can remember is that I agree regards rubbing sore joint with it as it contains Menthol.

It will clear up a fungal nail infection...!! I used to work in the beauty industry and our beaticians used to apply it under the infected nail with a sterile orange stick if they came across one during a mani/pedi and would recommend the client to continue the regime at home. I can't remember which off the top of my head but some of the ingredients have natural antibacterial and antifungal properties so it helps to prevent spreading as well as curing!
