I'm sure I read here somewhere about Epsom salts being used in someone's pain management? Sorry I'm not sure who - I don't find the site terribly easy to negotiate when looking for previous threads as many ideas come up within one posting. My question is, if using in a standard sized bath with a standard amount of water, how much of the salts should be used please ?
Epsom salts.: I'm sure I read here somewhere... - Pain Concern
Epsom salts.
.Hello
Epsom salts long in the past were used too clear the kidneys and bladder, it was used also to prevent stones in the gall and bladder.
Early on with these liver salts were on the market these salts cleaned, the liver hence its name. Also, many of the older generations would put epsom salts into their bathwater as it was thought to have a cleaning effect on the skin caused by the change of hardness in the water, It was also thought that it freshened the skin and gave a glow. and eased sore joints.
Personally I have not used this for many years, my surrogate family swore by it, and they would give me a touch in warm water.to clean the blood and immune system.
Just a spoonful in the bath was enough to clean the outside as well as in. Try it with a touch of orange and water, it has seemed to have been a panacia for all as it also could clear out the bowel.
All the best
BOB
Thanks Bob. Epsom salts are magnesium and I have heard that this needs to be supplemented with some peopke.
