vaccine trial at The Christie Manchester or UCH

hi Is anyone taking part in the trial of the new Vaccine for Ovarian Cancer at either The Christie or UCH? I may be put forward for this.

can you tell me what it involves ?

How are you getting on ?

Do you know what the criteria are for joining it ?

hope everyone is enjoying the summer . I do try to take one day at a time but the old subconscious often kicks in with hysteria about the horrors of Ovarian Cancer ! It can be hard to ignore it!

yes found it being done only at University in London and reading all the criteria I could have qualified ........Rats!

Don't give up on being part of it. Ask. You never know. You might get lucky and get on it.And Numi says they are recruiting again in October so I would put your name down now.

My oncologist mentioned it when I last saw her but didn’t give any details. She said it would be recruiting more participants in October. I’m seeing her on Wednesday to get latest scan results and decide treatment for 3rd recurrence.
