hi cazy1010. You’re doing great. You’ve had a major operation. Just take it steady. If you need a nap have one. If you over do it you’ll take longer to recover , so what’s the benefit. I find doing little and often rather than pushing myself and then feeling ill. It can take months to feel better.

Hope you make a speedy recovery x

You should not feel bad or guilty having little energy. This is a major operation, feeling the same here. Had it Feb. 1st and still feeling tired. I went back on chemo 30 days after. I thought it was too soon and my blood levels drop after 2 chemo so I have to skip chemo for a week. Please don't force yourself to get things done. Take care of you..

Yes! It’s a big op and the effects of the anaesthetic can stay in your system for around up to 6 months. I was amazed at how I felt…really well one minute then totally flaked out, ususally just after lunchtime. This lasted for about three moments, maybe four. I got into the habit of having an afternoon nap and that gave me energy to get on with things in the afternoon and evening. You’ll get there……remember the days when you could hardly move? Well, look at how far you’ve come from that point. You’ll get there.

Absolutely, yes. Your body's had a major op as well as the emotional turmoil that goes with all this. Just go with the flow and take it easy. If you feel tired, take a nap🤷‍♀️. It will take time for your body to recover from the nasty shock it's just had so be kind to it! You'll get there honest!❤️

Yes, of course you feel tired. It's major surgery and takes quite a while to recover. Chemo will take it out of you too. Allow a year for the full effects of chemo to leave your body. Just be patient, listen to your body and rest when you need to. Sending hugs!

I asked my Gyno/Onc the same question as far as the fatigue he said you need to remind yourself that his was a major operation and alot of "stuff gets moved around" not to mention trying to come to terms and wrap your head around OC. Your doing wonderful all part of the journey nap when you need to hugs

Good!! That's your body's way of telling you to chill out and let it work its healing magic. 😊You will know when to get moving again because knackered will be replaced by bored senseless!

Just let us know if you need book/series/film recommendations in the meantime.
