Hello everyone

Having spent several hours contacting numerous companies and feeling so despondent, having either been turned down completely or being quoted by one company, just over £3000.00 for an annual multi trip policy.

I eventually found success with a company called Insurancewith tel: [phone]

I've used InsuranceWith.com for the past 5 years and always had good service.

I had the same experience after finishing chemo I was quoted over £1000 with £500 excess. Many phone calls later I paid £150 for one year in Europe . I cannot recommend them enough. I finished chemo in September went to Spain in October and off to Christmas market in Germany next month.

I spoke to insurewith on the phone and couldn’t believe how helpful they were.

I found the main thing which made a difference was a soon as I was 1 day over 6 months since surgery it made a huge difference to the quotes.

Hi Alfiepop, do you mind me asking if you're currently on any treatment at all? I read on your bio that you're stage 4 like me, but because I'm also still on olaparib and avastin, I'm ticking too many of the wrong boxes and being quoted ridiculous figures just for a long weekend in Germany! Was your £300 policy an annual one?

it is tough. Amex covers pre-existing conditions in their travel insurance.
