Hey everyone.. I'm just reaching out to hear some positive past experiences.. I had a ct scan on Friday after 3rd chemo. I have primary peritoneal cancer, with nodules in omentum and abnormal pelvic, retroperitoneal and one abnornal cardiac lymph node. My cancer markers have gone from in the 200s to 20 after first chemo then 7 after second.. Has anyone had good ct results particularly with lymph nodes returning to what looks like normal on their scan after treatment? I'm on carboplatin/paclitaxel. The wait for results is agonising! I'd love to hear your good news stories.
Can i just add, I've loved reading all your positive posts over these last several months. Don't know what i would have done without them! 😊

Woohoo! Look at your cancer markers falling down! I think you can be positive about this scan, in my experience nodes are a law unto themselves but even if they aren’t back in their boxes this time, your bloods are leading the way xx
Thank you Lyndy.. You're right.. I was very happy with such a drop in ca125... Keeping everything crossed til results day. It can't come soon enough! Best wishes to you xx
Your results are great news....well done!I have stage 3 Primary peritoneal cancertoo.
I'm 2 years along now from my initial chemo and on maintenance drug which I'll finish soon. I had an abnormal cardiac node (query metastases) which resolved. Dr suggested it may even have been an inflammatory reaction rather than anything worrying.
Ah thank you so much x that's really good to hear. I've been told ill get ct results Wednesday now so not too long to wait now, keeping everything crossed 🤞 xx
Very best wishes to you too x sending much love and hugs x
