New regime for Primary Peritoneal grade 4 and breast/axilla grade 3.

Greetings to everyone. I Am reading posts everyday and recognise that everyone has a different story to tell and a wealth of experience to share.

In a nutshell, My diagnosis for PPC high grade serous was last Spring. I reacted to paclitaxol so had chemo just with Carboplatin. In Autumn I was ready for debulking surgery and following that Avastin and more Carboplatin.

An unrelated breast mass was found with axilla lymph node spread. Mastectomy and node clearance 3 weeks ago.. Cancer was again a high grade and HER2 positive.. Though ER and pr negative.

So, battered and bruised with new portacath inserted I start new chemo/immunotherapy regime next week. I am to have Abraxane (hopefully won't react to this taxane as the carrier is different), Avastin, Herceptin and Perjeta. Having it in one session, 3 weekly and I suspect it will knock me for six.

Anybody out there had a similar combination? Any tips on side effects etc which I may not have had last time.

Spring is trying to spring... I can't wait. Sending warm hugs to you all. Linda
