Hi

Iam treatment 4 of 6 chemotherapy Carboplatin and caelyx, second line treatment.

When I finish I have been offered the Icon 9 trial which is trialling Olaparib on its own versus Olaparib and Cedinarib.

Initially I as offered the Parp inhibitor Niraparib . Does anyone have any thoughts about the best way to go ?

I nitially had 3 treatments of Carboplatin and Paclitaxel, followed by debulking surgery followed by 3 more treatments of chemotherapy.

The cancer returned in the lymph nodes but not in any major organs but surgery not an option for the lymph nodes.

Any suggestions about the best way forward ? Anybody else on the Icon 9 trial ?

Have you been advised how long you may recieve Nariparib? If you respond well to Olaparib/ cederanib or Olaparib separately then you will be able to stay on the drugs. I completed the SOLO 2 trial and continue to recieve Olaparib (currently just over 7 years). Obviously you could be on either regime as its randomised.
