More chemo but a different one !!
Hi Gil I finished this chemo combo September just. Biggest tip I can give you is get your oncologist to prescribe Corsydl mouth wash. I was prescribed this four times a day and didn't have one mouth ulcer. Also I used neutragena body lotion which I particular used on my hands and feet and didn't have any cracked hands and feet which can also be a side affect with caelyx. Also ensure that when you are having caelyx they put I e blocks on your hands and feet they should automatically do this but in case they forget you may need to remind them. My first three months not too bad had no sickness just tired a little. The last three my bloods and magnesium tanked and had blood/magnesium infusions. I use to have my chemo on sa Wednesday had a little diarhea on Sunday but after that I was ok. I found it a walk in the park compared to taxol. Good luck with your treatment anything you want to ask just message me. All the best . X
Hi. I completely agree with win56’s advice. I also found carbo Caelyx much easier than carbo taxol though I was knocked out and somewhat nauseous during the first week. Good luck! Xx
