I am writing to let you know that my wonderful sister Judy (U.S.) died this past weekend. During the four years she knew she had ovarian cancer, she communicated regularly on this website and I also followed your posts. I know that she considered several of you friends including Kat-Mal and Lily-Anne. Judy often told me that she gained information, courage, and hope from her interactions with all of you. I know she would want me to thank you all and let you know how much your warm and caring posts meant to her.
I am devastated by losing Judy. Although we knew her time was limited, her positive attitude made us all believe she would beat the odds. Thank you all so much for your posts and encouragement and may you all enjoy your lives as much as she did.

So sorry to hear your sad news about your sister Judy. Condolences to you and your family. Thank you for taking the time to let us know. I shall remember her in my prayers.
Early in 2019 as my sister battled this awful disease I connected her with judy and they were in constant contact with each other. We had hoped to connect in person since we are in Jersey. Sadly I would lose my sister to the disease late last fall but I maintained the friendship with judy. Her last email to me was from early last month as she discussed the renovations being done at the apartment.
I am heartbroken for you, for Jay and the boys and all who loved her. We emailed we texted she was a guiding light and just amazing. She was a wonderful source of info and strength.
I will be making a donation in her name and will always miss her.
