Hello ladies, I’m sorry I haven’t posted much but my sister Fiona did and was so grateful for your help and support over the last months. Sadly Fiona lost the fight on 15th October, she was told the cancer was over the bowel and stomach and she was not strong enough to have her 6th caelyx and was given a couple of weeks. Fiona went into a wonderful hospice and enjoyed quality time with her family and fought the good fight for further 7 weeks.
I found this forum a massive help as did my sister to know you are not alone and how amazing you all are through all the difficult times you love life and will not, must not give up.
Thank you again and will pop in and out of the forum to cheer you all on xx

I'm so sorry to hear that your sister Fiona passed away. She seemed like a fighter and offered strength to others even when she was in a tough spot herself.
Glad to hear she felt well supported in the hospice. Thank you for posting the update, and please look after yourself too. Maus
So very sorry to hear of Fiona's passing but it was comforting to know she was so well taken care of throughout her journey. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Sorry to hear that Fiona lost this fight. May she rest in peace and that you take comfort that her struggle is over. This site is a source of strength and support for many of us.
I am so sorry to hear this and send love and sympathy to you and your family. Thank you for your message to all of us still here - a generous message in the face of your loss. Thank you xxx
So very sorry for your sad loss. I hope Fiona’s passing was peaceful and that in time you all come to remember the happy times you all had together before this dreadful disease came into your lives. I send you all love and big hugs. Fly high lovely Fiona, free from pain ❤️Xx Jane
Sally, I'm so sorry that you have lost Fiona. I'm so pleased that she had a good Hospice to go to. I think they don't just look after the dying person but their family, as well. Thank you for letting us know. Sad though it is to hear of another one of our fellow Ov Ca sufferers dying it is good to know what has happened to them and not be left wondering and worrying. I send my love and belated sympathy to you and all the family, Solange xx
Thank you all for your kind comments, we had girly sleep overs and cinema nights and made more memories. Fiona also arranged for an early Xmas with her daughter and cakes for the staff. She and you all are so very courageous and it has made me and a lot of people evaluate our life and not take anything for granted.
