This is a hard post to write but I have been contacted by a friend of Julie's who informed me that she sadly lost her fight against this awful disease on the 22nd of April.
He gave me permission to inform you all.
This disease has taken another lovely lady from amongst our friends. She was so young and beautiful.
Her friend informed me that she had donations to cancer research at her funeral so if anyone wishes to make a donation in her memory then to either donate it to them or ovacome.
I know she will be missed by us all

What ghastly news!
Thanks for posting - Julie will be very much missed on this forum.
Much, much too young, too!
In sadness,
Isadora.
This just is not fair !!!
Far to young to leave this world, thinking of the family.
Trish.

This is so sad. Julie was posting just a month ago and a number of us were looking forward to getting together with her Friday. I've got the email address of her closest friend should anyone want to send a donation to Cancer Research. Please PM me and I'll pass that on.
Julie was a lovely gentle lady and a much-loved member of this community.. To have experienced ovarian cancer at such a young age is truly tragic. I'm sending heartfelt condolences to Martin, her friends and family. Annie

This is so, so sad. Incredibly young to have had this awful experience, yet she was often bubbly in her responses here. We will miss her - please pass on my sympathies to her family and friends, who must be reeling.
So very sad to lose someone so young. Julie was about the same age as my eldest daughter, i can't even imagine how hard this is for her family. We all send our love to them on here.
So, so sad. Another beautiful young woman robbed of life by this cruel disease. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. I pray that one day a cure will be found.

Julie was a young woman with so much life and love in her soul... I'm devastated by this news. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. May G-d bless her memory.
I hope you don't mind me joining this group, but I wanted to sign in and thank you all personally for such warm comforting words about my sister. She was a very private person and did not share a lot with us about how she was, so it comes as some comfort to know she had this group to talk with. She always said she was fine when I knew deep down she wasn't.
This cancer is cruel, and I know my sister has lost her fight, but the war still goes on as Julie once put it.
My thoughts and prayers are with all you ladies, for the strength to keep on fighting and believing that one day this cancer and all cancers, will be a thing of the past.
Thank you again and my family and I wish you much luck and all the best for many more years to come.
