Complementary treatments with "off label" drugs?

Dear ladies

I would very much appreciate to hear from any of you who've had or having a complementary treatment by generic, "off label" drugs to help with ovarian cancer.

Has anyone used the services of Care Oncology Clinic in London? Or heard anything good/bad about them?

My sister has 4a HGS OC and RAD51C mutation. Since her diagnosis in Dec'17, in less that 3 years she's had the surgery, 2 rounds of chemo, Niraparib, and now is on 3d line of GarboGem.

We are desperate to look at everything that might help to fight progression of the disease.

Huge thanks for your replies, advise, insight and recommendations.

With best wishes to everyone

Lena

Hi, yes I take the off label COC protocol. I would also recommend you read Jane McClellands book how to starve cancer or join her Facebook Page. Best wishes, Rebecca

Thank you, Rebecca.

My sister is half way through the book and finds it very inspirational.

Have a good day.

Hi Lena

I am also using the COC protocol and taking the re purposed drugs. They require regular full blood tests and consultations every 3 months and the doctor I talk to there seems very good. He certainly seems to have a genuine concern about my health. I was diagnosed with stage 3b clear cell in December 2018 and was given a fairly dire prognosis. Had a great surgeon I think and then 6 rounds of chemo and was told NED after this. But no further treatment offered. I’ve been doing the COC protocol since then and so far have remained NED (but have another scan on Friday so we will see!) here’s hoping.

Take care, Fiona

Hi, we are all different. I have been taking Atorvastatin, Metformin, Mebendazole, Doxycycline since April 2019, but cannot say what role they played in my healing journey. Had chemo April-August 2019 to treat my first recurrence. Achieved NED in August 2019, but got my second recurrence in June 2020. Still taking the drugs besides Doxycycline because I believe they are helping. Approaching the disease from multiple sides is better than relying on a single treatment. Also taking supplements per the book How to Starve Cancer. Find Radical Remission book extremely inspiring. Hugs.
