How long after concurrent CTRT one should have CT scan?

My Head and Neck cancer CTRT ended on 27th Feb., 2020. My oncologist asked us to have CECT scan after 8 weeks. I want to know what is the length of time after CTRT one should have first scan? I am worried as to whether I should have it earlier. What will be the possible effects of having CT scan after nearly two months after treatment?
