First of all, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the families of our lost Teal warriors, such sad sad news.I wasn't sure whether to post my news or not at this sad time but every little bit of good news might bring comfort to another lovely warrior.
I was told this week that I was in total remission,no evidence of cancer. My CA125 had been slowly rising but as my intestines aren't working properly it's benign put down to inflammation. How does one digest the news.Ovarian Cancer is such a roller coaster of a ride,I'm at the summit of that ride at the moment and I have to stay here for as long as possible.
The Olaparib has worked for me.It has put the cancer into hibernation mode.Im not cured and I am still class as stage four advanced but now I've a new qualification to add to my title,Annie,s.f.a.o.c.t.r.Must get that on a letterhead in case I ever need to contact gov officials,it looks impressive 😉.
I want to wish each and everyone of you and your families,"Joy that you felt in childhood",love and peace of mind xxxx

I read your post this morning and then read all your posts from the beginning. You have been on a roller coaster of a journey and I’m so glad for you that you got that positive news just in time for Christmas . Long may it continue. My PPC was inoperable too but I lasted for nearly 5 years after chemo before recurrence in lymph nodes. I was offered neither Avastin or any other trial drugs but now I’m on a different journey I have finally been offered gene testing so who knows what that will show.
Meanwhile Annie savor every moment of a wonderful Christmas with your new found status . May you have many many happy New Years too
