That's great news Babs . Thank you for posting its so good to hear such a positive story. Were you on any maintenance drug after chemo or taking any other meds or supplements . I am also stage 4 ( high grade ) and 6 months post chemo on Avastin till January but very anxious about what happens after that ! 😞
May you have many many more years in remission and keep us updated . Love and best wishes Kim x
Hi Kim was on Avastin before surgery but unfortunately the wound reopened got infection took over four months to get it to heal so they were unable give Avastin till sorted by then the gap between cycle was too much so was unable to continue had two cycles of carbo/taxol after surgery nothing else since that
Must have been so worrying when your wound opened up with infection . But it's fantastic that you have stayed in remission without any maintenance drug . Do you follow any special diet or take any other supplements ?
So great to hear a positive story and gives us all hope . Thanks for posting . Kim x
Wow that's fantastic!
So pleased for you, always a boost for us all xx
