Worried I have overian cancer

I have just had a ct scan I have a mass on my right overary and a mass on my left I have pain every day tummy bloated been like this since last sept doctor said it was wheat allergy I did find out I got celiac still went onto have problems been told about this on the 3rd July my c4 125 normal but my mum had overian cancer when she was 45 I am48 my nan had it at 66 I hope I haven't but they said they won't no to they take the mass out and do biopsy

Hi Kaz and welcome. This must be very hard for you right now. But you doctors are doing the right thing. I imagine you have a date for surgery. It is true that the surgeon won't have a definite diagnosis until after surgery. You can ring the Ovacome Helpline and they will give you medical advice. Don't be over thinking the situation right now as it won't help you feel better

Hi Suzuki no I haven't a date yet which makes it harder just won't to get it done I am a strong person but still a worry thanks for speaking to me

Of course you want it sorted asap. So ring your gp and the doctor you have seen or his secretary and press for a date

I have done and they said I am on the urgent list hopefully get a date soon thanks for your support

Hi Kaz, has anyone gotten genetic testing in your family since ovarian cancer runs in your family? I would try to get the test done, if I was you, as BRCA positive can give you some more options, if it is cancer!

Hi why are you on the urgent list did they say what they thought they cyst was or did they just say mass i didnt ask questiond wish i did coz they worry is awfull and also why have they not said to wait a few weeks see if goes ect

Hello Leanne 81 they said they don't no until I have op so just have to wait it is a worry but they are giving me ultra scan to keep eye on it thanks
