Etoposide

Started the Etoposide tablet tonight, has to be taken everyday until onc says stop, he says hopefully for four months then a CT scan to see how things are going, have reviews every 3 weeks with blood tests. Here's hoping that it does its job and controls things.

Hi Karen, wishing you a good result with it and not many side effects.

My oncologist said I could try this if the cyclophosphamide stops working.

Wishing you good luck with your Treatment, I too am on weekly taxol, saw my oncologist last Friday and my numbers had gone down so glad that the taxol is doing the job. Had my fifth chemo yesterday, only another thirteen to go. Love Julie xx

Good luck with weekly taxol Julie, it can get a bit wearing and tough about week 12, I got tired so make sure you rest but I did it and you will to and fab news about numbers coming down to that's what we like to see.
