Thanks Nicola. I was able to access the tribute. Does anyone know how long ago she was diagnosed and when she became terminal. She will certainly be missed and I feel so sad at the news.

Lovely tribute Nicola. I was eating breakfast this morning when I heard the sad news of Annie (Whippet). I was so shocked. It doesn't seem that long ago that she seemed to be doing OK. I haven't been on the Ovacome site as much as usual because mum has been on 'watch and wait' since her 6th Caelyx last July. So sad. Jane X

The Target Ovarian Conference is on 14 June - do you know if it would be possible to have some kind of tribute to Annie at the conference or whether this is planned? She's such a leading light in our community - I feel it's important to honour her life at such an event, to remember her & so that more of us can be inspired to follow in her footsteps.

Hi Grace - that is a great idea but I would have no idea how to do it. Would you have time to contact Target Ovarian C? I don't actually live in the UK so can't attend. I corresponded with Annie on this forum alot. I simply can't believe things went so quickly. I happened to see news of her passing on FB and wanted very urgently to put something on this forum where she was so active, hence my post. I need to track down some of her OC friends to see what we can do. I think she really needs a proper tribute on My Ovacome too. I will email a few people. Nicola

Yes, I completely agree that she needs a proper tribute on this site too. If you're contacting her OC friends about this maybe you run having a tribute at the Target Ovarian C conference too. I'd also like to check it out with her family & close friends first - to respect their wishes - so if any of Annie's family and close friends are reading this - please leave a comment on here. In the meantime, as time is short, I'll make some initial enquiries with Target Ovarian C & post their response. xx Sundra
