good morning all. Just passed my second week after my second chemo and have been feeling good, then unexpectedly I was sick this morning. I feel ok now with no other symptoms but do I carry on with my usual meds or do I need to check with the on call team? Any advise welcome
sick: good morning all. Just passed my second... - My Ovacome
sick
Hey!
Funnily enough I was also sick after second treatment only the once and didn't develop into anything! Not sure why but I am finished all 6 treatments and it didn't happen a second time! I did change my antisicknesss Meds after no 2 as I was having digestive difficulties I changed to Emend and found that much better but not sure if that had any influence on the sickness I presume it did! It might just be a spontaneous thing and if not accompanied by temp or other symptoms I wouldn't be too concerned however if you are concerned call you team that's what they are there for and they will be able to help hopefully!!!
Mind yourself!

took my normal meds as I had no temperature and felt ok the rest of the day. If I had felt unwell I would have called. Just came out of the blue.
I'd continue with my meds . Are you taking your anti sickness tablets? Talk to your team of it continues just give your day ward a call or you might have other numbers - wishing you all the best - Trish
I think it may have been an off couple of hours, that can happen. I agree Emend is good anti nausea and also Maxolon however after three Maxolon, I had to go to bed and sleep it off and next morning wouldnt be too bad so would cut down the Maxalon to two that day and maybe one the following day. Thinking of you
I'd call and have a chat to them so it's on your record.
I don't think you need to worry unless you feel really unwell, but by the sounds of it one of those random things, maybe your stomach didn't like something you gave it that day x
Hoping you've got over the sickness period now? I was lucky and although I felt terribly nauseous, 'ginger anything' seemed to keep it at bay and I never had to take any meds. I especially made a ginger tincture by boiling and steeping ginger until I could put the liquid into ice cubes. Each time I felt nauseous, I had some of this tincture. Hoping you're ok? Eleni x
