Lovely tribute, Gwyn. We will miss Una in our community. She did so much to raise awareness, to increase fair access in NI. A truly inspirational lady.
It was with sadness that I read your post about Una's death. I read about her in a newspaper (here in Southern Ireland) and told others of the manner in which she raised the profile and awareness of OC. It definitely shows that the 'power of one' can achieve wonders.
To her family and friends I send condolences and will think of Una when visiting my church tomorrow.
Beautiful tribute Gwyn and a beautiful photo. Una will be sadly missed by all here in this community. Thanks you for letting us know. I will pray for Una and her family and friends tonight.
A truly remarkable woman of great love who has impacted many lives and will continue to do so. Amongst the many tributes, Una's words from one of the many interviews she gave, “It’s not how long you've got, it’s what you do with your time that really matters,” believes Una. “I've achieved so much more in the past four years than I would've done if cancer hadn't come into my life.”
“None of us have the promise of tomorrow,” she reminds us. “I’m here now, so I may as well make the most of it!”
Thinking of those who she loved most at this sad time, with love x
Wonderful words again Gwyn. I only found out about Una on Facebook about 30 minutes ago. She certainly made her mark and will be remembered.
Sending love to her family.

Una sent me her CD. She had a beautiful voice. And, yes, she does live in our memories and will always be near. Life is indeed a precious gift. Sending heartfelt condolences to Una's family and friends. Xxxxx
Beautiful Gwyn. Una will definitely be missed. She was an inspiration to me when I met her in the clinic in Belfast and we became friends from that day. Her funeral is on Monday and I will be attending. Thank you for writing this tribute to her. Ann xo
