I am sorry to have to tell you that our lovely friend Jenny died peacefully and without pain on the 31st of December ...her husband Paul and two daughters Kate and Lucy were with her holding her hands...her family are very aware that Jenny had many lovely friends on this forum (My Ovacome) she often mentioned to them the support she had ........
.......A Tribute to Jenny (jennybutler))............
Such sad news, We will miss Jenny. Condolences to her family.
Love Mary xx
Jenny to me was full of life. I always thought how beautiful she was and of how this illness never took away her inward vitality too. I was shocked at this news Gwyn. There was a promise of another treatment and it's sad that this didn't happen if that's what she wanted. It's not for anyone else to make these huge decisions we can make for ourselves. My heartfelt condolences to Paul, Kate, Lucy and all who loved her. Xxx
I am so shocked by Jenny's passing, I just didn't think she was that close to the end with her last postings. Very sad. I will miss her contributions on here. She has supported me as nd numerous others. Please pass on my condolences to her family Gwyn and thank you again for such a lovely tribute to another of our community. Ann xo
I am so sad to hear this news. Jenny was a lovely lady who contributed so much to this site and helped so many women. My deepest sympathy to her husband, Children, family and friends. - Trish
So sad to hear about Jenny, she was such a help to me and got me through those early days. My love and prayers to her family, so glad Gwyn has written such a lovely tribute. I often think about you Gwyn.Love Bridie x.
Very sad to hear Jenny is gone. I really hoped that somehow she could beat the odds. I was always inspired by her posts, when she was trying bravely to fight the disease with other therapies, and she seemed to be succeeding at one point, before she had to accept more chemo. She will be sorely missed on this site as she was such a positive force and her warm heart shone though in her posts.
so very sad and shocked to read this, Jenny was a much valued member of this site, condolences to her family and thanks to Gwyn for another lovely tribute
Jenny's personality shone through everything she posted and I'm sure she will be deeply missed by all who loved her most as well as by those of us who knew her here. I am thinking of them all at this sad time. With love, Sx
Just a quick note to say that I happened to walk past Jenny's lovely art shop in Bristol last night and there was a notice saying her funeral is today. I am sure many of us will want to remember her today .
