I have to say, these posts concerning 'elite' groups is not a good impression for those logging onto the site for the first time, when they are frightened and in need of our support. Facebook is not elite, by any stretch of the imagination.

I agree Lily-Anne. I think many people have been thrown by the change to the look of the site last week and there are inevitably changes to communities as some members join and others leave. It's important to keep an eye out for people who are looking for friendship and support and provide just that.

You're right and your post prompted me to start a new blog which will hopefully give a far better impression of our community to newcomers. I thought it a good idea for everyone to share their positive experiences here rather than dwelling on recent negatives. Feel free to contribute.

I would say we should just continue to use HU as we have always done and I don't think that was ever in question. It will remain a fantastic resource among many other support services. xx Annie
