A sad day for Ovacare,

Hi Ladies and gents, I know a lot of you received replies of support from our friend Daises both on the Ovacome and Ovacare Websites.   I am sorry to say that Daisies sister has informed me that Daisies passed peacefully last night.   I know she will be badly missed by everyone on both sites.  Daisies had a wonderful sense of courage and humour.  She once purchased a Mohacan Wig which she produced for us at an Ovacare Patient Day in Cork, a few years ago.  May Daisies now rest in peace

Shocking news , I am so saddened by this . It doesn't seem long ago that she was making pots of jam and descibing peach fuzz on her own face at the same time ...what a hell this didease is .

Daises posts were always so upbeat even when things were getting her down . She was indeed a strong lady . Please forward condolences to her family .

Yes Maureen suffers no longer but we will miss her at the patient day, But we have to keep on going on, I know I have borrowed that phrase from some one on the site but I am sure they wont mind in the circumstances.
