I've got an amazing husband too, and I don't know how I would have gotten through all this without him. XXOO

Hi Mary

I am half way through my course of Avastin. I had 3 with chemo after surgery and then get another 15 so 18 all together. I started it Sep 2017 every three weeks, finish Sep this year. It’s not too bad. x Shona

I had avastin with my last three chemo from April last year and was on it until January this year. Even though my Doc originally said a year of avastin I always felt it would be indefinite. That’s what I told every one that asked as I got asked a lot how many I had left. Unfortunately I had a reoccurrence in January and now back on chemo. But all going well. Tumour Marker down to 29 after 5 chemos (it was at 500) and scan showing just residual. Have another 3 months of chemo to go (6 sessions every two weeks) so fingers crosssed that will be it.

Hi Mary. Just saw your post now. I was on Avastin for 15 months post chemo my Oncologist said that is the normal amount of time recommended as it can be harsh on the kidneys. I hope this helps 😊
