hiya. I have spent the last ten minutes searching here and on the nras website for the blog. It asked I think for people who wanted to volunteer or already volunteers to come for training days in various areas. NRAS help me as I cant find it!

I know the one i am booked into is in Manchester on May 9th and its got workshops, if you ring the helpline they might be able to give you more info. And if you get booked message me and we could meet up?

Oh I would love to come too Allanah and have just sent off application to be NRAS volunteer so I can also become a Scottish Ambassador for NRAS. If son doesn't get a place at Aberdeen then I will try to come but have to see as may need to take him down to look at the uni and can't afford to do both. It may be fully booked by the time I work it out but I would love to meet up with you! Tilda x

Well I'm kind of looking for an excuse for a trip somewhere but probably not - just being fanciful because I know it's going to be my turn for a trip away next and a bit fed up watching son and husband pack up - they are both all excited now. Tilda x

This year NRAS are running regional training days across the country to reach as many members and volunteers as possible! We are running these training days on four dates and locations. These are Solihull on Monday 22nd April, Maidstone on Wednesday 1st May, Manchester on Thursday 9th May and Bristol on Wednesday 5th June. The days are planned to run from coffee and registration between 09:30 and 10:00 until close at approximately 16:30.

These days will be a mix of group sessions, interactive workshops and there will be a keynote speaker at each training event.

You will receive full details of your chosen training day two weeks in advance of the date. This will include directions to the location and an expenses form. These are one day training events and therefore all reasonable travel expenses will be paid but no overnight accommodation will be covered.

We hope that these events will be a successful way of giving as many of our Members across the UK the opportunity to get involved with the widening work NRAS is involved in.

Well this has caused a huge laughing session in my house when i announced i am going to Manchester to a hotel with someone I met on the internet!!!!!!!! lol , i can still hear them laughing now hee hee . Looking forward to a very interesting day.

Would love to do this but cant get to Manchester. Wish they would have something closer to home (I am near Chester / Liverpool).

Lyn sorry I am in Manchester for a few days before to see Beyonce and will be travelling from North Yorkshire and Watson I do snore, so that's me out!!!!!! Anyway sharing a room with someone I met on the Internet ? My hubby would never believe me!! It's ok she's got arthritis dear............ Ha ha xxx see u in Manchester
