Most people with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) do not know they are at an increased risk of developing a heart condition. This Valentine's Day, we aim to change that!

Love Your Heart is our new online interactive programme that helps people with RA (or other forms of inflammatory arthritis) to understand and manage the increased risk of Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD) associated with RA/IA.

The FREE online interactive video programme is an an engaging and educational platform that allows users to:

- understand the reasons why RA increases risk of CVD or heart conditions. You will hear from people with RA who have done this programme in a face-to-face format and benefitted from it

- complete a QRISK®2 assessment - a GP-recognised prediction algorithm for CVD.

- learn how to reduce risk of CVD. The programme features high quality videos from medical experts on exercise, nutrition and stopping smoking amongst other topics.

- set goals and mitigate the risks associated with your condition. Moreover, it sends you all the information automatically via email so that you can keep track!

Visit the website to find out more and to start the programme today!

Hi Emma

I'm having difficulty getting into love your heart site.

Is it the same log in as getting onto the NRAS

Hi Matilda,

Afraid not you'll need to register separately to use the programme (all the data/passwords etc are stored with Streaming Well (the company who helped us create it) and so we have no access to them.

Do let us know if you have any further issues,

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work properly on my iPad. After the introduction it just stops and if I try to start it , it goes back to beginning which is tedious.

Hi Downtime,

Sorry to hear you've been having problems. The programme has been tested by a number of our Members (on various devices) but unfortunately there will always be a few technical issues that crop up!

If you could log it using the link here: 123formbuilder.com/form-343... we will get the team who created it to look into it and see if they can come up with a solution.

Unfortunately I'm not an expert on the programme but a few things to try in the meantime:

After watching the first chapter have you tried clicking the 'save and exit' button, and then logging back in again? It should take you back to where you left off.

Or by clicking the 'navigate menu' button it should show you the next chapter that is available to view?

Hope that helps,

EmmaS-NRAS
