We are delighted to announce the NRAS Annual Conferences for 2016 however this year, to try and reach even more people, we will be holding three mini conferences instead of just one main one. Plans are afoot to hold these conferences in:

- Eastwood Park, Wotton-under-Edge, South Gloucestershire on Wednesday 11th May from 1pm to 5pm

- Novetel Nottingham Derby on Thursday 29th September from 1pm to 5pm

- Forth Valley College, Stirling on 4th October from 10.30am to 4pm. This “Gathering” is being organised by our wonderful Scottish Ambassadors

As with previous years it will be free to attend for all current paid NRAS Members accompanied by one guest.  Additional guests and non-NRAS Members (including users of HealthUnlocked community) are also welcome to attend for small fee of £10.00.

Alternatively, you can join NRAS using our special Direct Debit offer (which is £10 for the first year) and therefore can attend the event for free. Please contact us using the details below and we will send you the special offer form.

Interesting speakers and interactive sessions are being planned for each event but spaces will be limited so please do contact us to register your interest in attending. You can do this via the website at nras.org.uk/memberevents or email membership@nras.org.uk with your full name, postcode, the Members’ event you are interested in attending and also tell us if you will be accompanied by a guest(s). Alternatively call the office on 0845 458 3969 and ask to speak to the Membership team. Further information, including a full agenda, venue details and directions etc., will be sent out nearer the time.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

And every one on a week day ... Not all people living with RD are retired or even part time and some of us happen to be teachers so can't take a term date out as 'one of my allocated holiday days' as teacher's holidays are fixed... Awe well yet another support thing I won't be able to tap into so I'll put it on the stacks of others that are unattendable because people just don't get it 😔

Hi Ali_H, we do appreciated that these particular events are on a weekday however many of our group meetings (which you can find at nras.org.uk/groups) are held in the evenings.  We are also currently planning an information day in London which will take place on a Saturday during RA awareness week.  Further details will be announced in due course.

Kind regards

Hi Bala, yes it's fine to pay on the day but we just need to know numbers in advance for catering purposes.

Thanks

Hi Emma,

Thanks for responding.

Unfortunately evening meetings are also no good because of the fatigue issues which go with having RA and working full time. The Saturday in London may be a goer depending on timings and good old fatigue levels at the time.
