Dear All
I hope many of you were able to join us for our webinar on 'exercise' with Prof. George Metsios last Monday 17th September! We have another webinar coming up in two weeks that you can now register for, see details below:
What really matters to people living with RA: join us for a webinar panel discussion and launch of new film.
On Wednesday 10th October at 7:00pm, Lilly UK and NRAS will be hosting a webinar panel discussion ‘RA Matters to Me’. The webinar has been developed in collaboration with and funded by Lilly UK.
The panel members are:
- Cathy Boys, a Senior Rheumatology Specialist Practitioner at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
- Ailsa Bosworth, Chief Executive and founder of NRAS, who has lived with RA for over 30 years.
- Rachael Till, a Science Teacher who was diagnosed with RA at 22.
- Clare Jacklin, Director of External Affairs at NRAS.
To understand the full reality of life with RA, in late 2016 Lilly created RA Matters, a first-of-its kind survey of 6,200 people across eight countries. Building on the survey in 2018, Lilly and NRAS have collaborated on the RA Matters campaign, seeking to improve the understanding of RA to support people with RA to live the best lives possible. As part of the campaign, this webinar will showcase a new film highlighting Rachael’s personal experience of RA. The panellists will then discuss some of the themes in the film, including the impact of RA on work, relationships and aspirations.
The webinar will be streaming LIVE, so you will also have the opportunity to type in questions at the end of the discussion and have them answered by the panel in real time.
