Hi Mark45. I would strongly suggest you go to see your GP. Anything unusual should be checked out. What meds are you on? they can sometimes cause a reaction as well. Your GP may well do blood tests to rule out any nasties or you could speak to your rheumy consultant. Best wishes. LavendarLady x

Hi Mark, active RA can cause all the symptoms you list. Also could be side effect/reaction to medication. What meds do you take?

If you take meds which require your blood checked regularly any difference in blood values would I imagine be picked up and the hospital monitoring team would contact you for further tests.

Only your doctor can answer your question, make an appointment or request a phone consultation.

Get it check properly with your G.P, no one on this site can diagnose you.

Good luck

I was diagnosed with this about 18 years ago through a blood test, I was taken within a week to have a scan for the lumps and then for another blood test a week later and I couldnt beleive it when they said "it was there but it isnt now" so I asked what happened to it and he told me "well" he said "it would seem that it is no longer there and we must wait for these things to develope if it is going to at all" so far Fibro developed , diabetes developed and RA but thank God not lymphoma.

SO Make sure you get it checked out you wont feel or look stupid BUT you will if you dont go.

Plus I get the sweats and a rash on my hands near my thumbs.
