Afternoon everyone. It has been a busy week for our family. We had all the washing to do and that was a long job.THis week has been a funny old week for me,Tuesday i went to the drs about my fingers and i still have to keep using the cream that he gave me. I also managed to get my flu jab while i was there as well.
Friday i did quite a bit of walking, we went to the tip to dump a lot of rubbish,then hubby went into asda and i went into b&m stores to get some apple water £40 odd pounds later we came home.
Then on saturday we took our daughter to a standard bearers competition. While she was doing that we went round to Hatton centre and i managed to get some presents for xmas. There was no way would i have been able to take my scooter round there,so i walked all the way round. Sadly our daughter didn't win the competition,but she did her best and thats all we ask of her. We then went for a meal on the way home and then i watched strictly and yes i am now a fan. After that i had a bath and went to bed to watched csi.
Well this morning i didn't get up until 8.00am which for me is a lie in. I have been downstairs for nearly all week so i was pleased to get some sleep. Now i am sitting here having had my lunch and i am still very tired and i ache,i am so sick of being in pain.
Before lunch i wrapped some xmas presents for my family. I am not sure yet if i am going to do much more. All the walking has took it out of me and my eyes seem to want to go off on their own.

Sorry to hear your not having a good time still. Have you thought of buying presents off the internet? I did a lot if mine that way last year and i intend to the same this year. Try and get some rest and take care. Xxx
Georje, i get pressies when i see them. I have got one on the internet for my daughter as she is a winnie the pooh fan. I need to get her a diary and calender and some games for her ds and that will be her done. My cousins are sorted just waiting to be wrapped. My son is the hardest as he only here for twelve weeks out of the year, so its clothes for him.
I don't know whether i sound down or not,but i am certainly tired and i don't know whether fed up is the right word or not. I have had a good time this weekend despite being tired.
I'm at the hospital on wednesday and i will try and see what he can do for me.
I miss some of the people on here as they don't seem to be about much,have you noticed that? It is probally the dark nights setting in that is getting to me.
Yes I know what you mean, quite a few names are not appearing lately. I had to have my profile checked as several times I have logged in but unable to reply to anyone, it has come ok, maybe others have had the same problems.
And yes, you do sound down as though the high jinks of late are catching up with you along with living constantly with pain. Darker nights do get to some people, if that is happening to you I would try to get out when you can, even a walk in your garden for ten minutes will help. That's the advice given to a friend of mine from her GP, she has the winter blues each year.

Carole, why is it that when we are good we go and overdo it. I get tired of trying to get things done when i feel i can do it and then paying for it later.
We was supposed to go to london on thursday to the naidex exhibition, but we are having to give it a miss as there is too much on. I have hospital wed. thurs there is a british legion meeting for hubby and daughter. Friday my nails and then we are going to a ghurka dinner and by them i will be whacked out. I will tell all about that on the weekend about how it went. I have a new dress for it as well. It will make a change from trousers which i live in.

You've certainly been busy and you are very well organised getting Xmas pressies already.
I'm very tired too, have overdone it too, yesterday and today really, tried to get into the garden while the weather was good, as I wanted to power wash the garden path as it seemed to have become very slippery. Boy did it need doing, couldn't believe the change in the colour of it, no wonder it was slippery! Was a big task though as we have a long garden and once I had started I wanted to finish it off.
I've noticed a few people haven't been on for a while, maybe there's more on the tv this time of year to keep everyone occupied.

Been busy too, but no Xmas pressies yet! Been in Glasgow for my cousins birthday party so tired but happy. I think everyone I have spoken to is tired, my hubby, my daughter, my friends. Maybe it's not getting enough sun this summer! axx
Whao that sounds really good Sylvie, not the pain obviously, but how much you were able to get done, you really do sound as though you are a lot better than the last time i was on (about 3 weeks ago). Well impressed!!
Hello ladies, Mads, yes mads i am better in my head if you know what i mean. My new knee is doing very well,the only problem i have is all the soft tissue around the joint.

Mary you are one brave lady doing the patio with the power washer, well done to you and if you want to come to the midlands i have a patio you can do please. I will feed and water you so there is no worry there.
I have been to bedworth this morning and did some shopping for xmas. I want to be organised as my son will be home on the 2nd december and i want to spend time with him. I also want all the deccies up before he gets here as well. Hubby is checking all the lights to make sure that they all work and if they don't will ned to get some more.
Hi Sylvi, I wish I could get myself more organised for Christmas, I have got 3 prezzies and thought that was good. But have made a start on writing cards!!!! I don't quite understand why when we feel good we go made and end up paying for it. I often think I'll do such and such, then awhile later, I'll just do that, until I've over done it........ toooooo late. Your blogs very often give me a lift as you see the positive side of things, apart from the pain, which we all can relate too. I had my first visit to the Hydropool, it was so lovely, doing the exercises, weightless, being able to move with very little pain, but boy oh boy, did I pay for it on the 2nd day after, but knowing what caused it made it more bearable, am really looking forward to this weeks session. Ann, i try to be positive as in the end it will help me and others. If i wasn't optomistic i think i would sink and i am not prepared to go there.
I want to be able to rest and enjoy my son when he comes home at the beginning of december. Then we can go down to see the family and take xmas gifts down.
My rheumys haven't offered me hydropool so i don't know how you feel,but i do know about overdoing it. i am forever overdoing when i feel good.
