pain clinic [humour]

I'm going to join a pain clinic,

now do I get a choice?

'cos if we'll have to ask at once,

they might not hear my voice.

all the good pains,

will go in the first place,

[ I wanted flute in music class -

instead got double base!]

I'd like just little finger ache,

I'll swap all mine for it.

I don't want my Fibro or RA,

'cos frankly they are sh*t.

I'll likely have to bring them home,

'no-one there will swap.

and maybe they'll add a few more

just for fun on top!

shall I stay away or go?

what do others think?

if only they'd teach me how to cope!

I might suggest it [wink!]

regards,

sandra.

As HYPNOTHEAPIST, PAIN IS AN AREA I AM LOOKING INTO, AS, a sufferer of A/Pain myself, I am looking into self hypnosis, as a means of reducing my stress levels. I once sorted some issues out for people who had lost their sence of taste and smell, 50% success rate, and the NHS would not payme 50 k a year to do it 5 days a week. NHS lost out on that one eh.

I have tried. Acupuncture and that did help whilst I was having it. As soon as it stopped the pain came back. I am now Buprenorphine patches, applied once weekly they release 5mcg of drug per hour. There do help but do make you very sleepy. Or at least that's how they affect me.

Our pain clinic at the hospital is very good.

So clinic you should try

If you could

They understand when you cry

So if I were you I'd give them a try

You have nothing to loose

Though lots to gain

To get shot of that sh...ty PAIN...

I love your poem

So hear my reply

In response to your cry

So off you go with your pain score

And knock loudly on that clinic DOOR...
