RA treated with Enbrel get extreme tiredness after injection

Hi,

I've had RA since MAR 2023. I take weekly injections of Enbrel and find that sometimes this is followed with extreme and oppressive tiredness. At first I thought it might just be the RA causing this but there seems to be a real correlation to the injection and the tiredness. The Enbrel works and keeps the pain and inflammation at bay but this tiredness tho!

Anyone else experience this?

Hi yes I find this sometimes with abatacept the only thing I’ve found which reduces the fatigue and mind numbing tiredness is to increase my water intake the day before and after. It doesn’t always work, also I do my injection at night so I’m not wiped out for the day. I hope you find a solution which helps you. Sorry I can’t offer much more in the way of eliminating the tiredness associated with your biologic, I take it your bloods are up to date and maybe a Vit D check or B12 might be in order as this can sometimes be the cause.
