I did my first unsupervised injection today and instead of the liquid going in slowly over about 10 seconds it just all disappeared instantly. Has anyone else had this happen and what did you do about it? Thanks

It's usually pretty quick.

It's generally up to about 10 seconds, but it is very quick and I think often goes in much more quickly than that; as long as the little window turns yellow, it should be fine. Very occasionally I have found the liquid hasn't gone in properly and spills over on to my leg/stomach (depending which patch I have chosen that week!)- not sure why, but when that happens, I just have to leave it 2 weeks before doing the next one.

Nothing to worry about. It is quick. I started in December. As long as you do the normal checks you will be fine.

I’ve been on it over a year and when I inject it goes it instantly but was told to hold it there for 10 seconds, so sure yours is fine.
