Poor Darcy, she was loyal and lovely and so well loved she. will forever be remembered. We still think very fondly of the various amazing cats we have owned and talk about them regularly. Hard to believe at the moment but hopefully eventually the agony you are experiencing just now will fade and you will be left with lovely memories of her that you can share. ❤️

Thank you for sharing Darcy with us in your posts and photos over the years and for introducing me to the word Zoomies, which I had never heard of up until you once describing Darcy in a post as having the Zoomies. Keep Darcy and the wonderful memories you have close in your heart. xx

It hurts like hell I know but it will get easier eventually. The thing is you had the privilege of knowing her, you gave her a wonderful life and she couldn't have been more loved. x

As owners we have the privilege that we can stop an animal suffering no matter how much loved , we do what’s best for our pets. So although much missed your memories of a much lovely Darcy must bring solace. I’m so sorry and know how hard it is and sometimes a special dog or cat has just a bit more special space in our hearts. I remember Sam my mums adored Border Collie with a smile and he’s been gone over 50 years but he was our childhood minder, sat in a pram and wore hats with resigned eyes. One eye blue and the other brown he stood out as was supposed to work the sheep but managed to get in the house and spent his life near the fire and never did a days work ever! Once in he never went out to work just held out his paw and mum said he was poorly. He was poorly for over 20 years! lol xxx

You’d be a really cold person if you didn’t have some form of empathy over losing such a loyal pet. When you’re out n about with a dog. You never feel alone! I love Sidney, my chunky Syrian hamster. But i think if i walked him on a lead every night. The white men in coats would be after me! X
