Abnormal Nrbc and liver platlet results

Hi, I've been on both methotrexate 20mg and hydrochloride 200mg for years now and bar the odd flare up, they have been controlling my RA but my last blood test came back with this so I'm worried that it is now effecting my liver or worse. Anybody had these kind of results before?

Unfortunately can't get an appt for the next few months, have spoken to the RA nurse and she said not to worry about them but I'm getting all these new weird symptoms so think is there a connection?

Belt & Braces speak to your GP, although your rheumy nurse should have consulted your rheumy before passing information to you.

I haven’t but I’m sure if they were worried they would take you off until it levelled out…

I had a spike in my liver enzymes for no reason. In fact we had just decreased my leflunimide so the spike was a shock. My rheumatologist said spikes can happen on the dmards so she wasn’t worried. Are your levels really high?

Hi Smilelines, thanks for answering, no not very hight, liver AST is 47 and Nrbc's are 0.01, it's just I'm suddenly experiencing high level fatigue, headaches, joint pain and nausea and trying to see if 2 +2 =4 🤔. Has your spike gone down?

yes my spike is gone but she won’t be increasing my leflunimide up again. I didn’t feel badly when my levels were high, I just felt normal. I wonder if you could ask your family doctor to check your levels because my spike was down a month later. Seems like your medicine might not be working. It’s hard to put the pieces together. Very frustrating.❤️
