off topic reported again!

I’ve no idea why this has happened, I did as Allanah suggested looked a the access card application and realised that I could not see the whole form. I remarked on that to now have been taken as offensive, I give up, if asking a question is going to cause problems then it’s hopeless. I’m sorry but this is the final straw, the personal abuse I received in PMs from another member was awful and the NRAS banned them because posts were changed. I’m saying goodbye as if every time a question is asked or a comment made the awful problem that existed previously is bought up without any good reason then this site is neither a safe place nor one which I believe is worth continuing with. Oh I hope you change your mind. Granted I don’t know the details, but I think bad actors come and go. Maybe just a break would do you good. You’ve been here since I joined. I can’t imagine you being offensive. So sorry to hear of your experience.

So right I agree with Sylvi, I don’t know the facts but you have such a lot of experience ML and give a lot of good sound advice so I’ll definitely miss you if you go Medway-lady.

Don’t let one person spoil your experience of this site. I haven’t ever noticed you say anything offensive on here at all. You always respond with your personal experience and opinions in a well written way. We will miss you if you do go.

What is that about.? I unticked it!

You are right ….Out of curiosity I looked at that applcation form,& it wanted a lot of information, but didn’t appear to give much about the background of the company running the scheme..in today’s climate one cannot be too careful about disclosing personal information.

please don’t go. I don’t know why people come on a forum and expect to post something and people not to ask questions about what they’re posting. Another one who is looking for a reaction so they can report people, don’t know why they couldn’t just answer your question without being rude 🤷🏻‍♀️

I read all of the posts this morning. I didn't think your questions were abusive at all. They, I feel we're taken totally out of context. You just stated your opinions and questions about security which is indeed paramount in this day and age. Please don't leave, you are one of the many people who have helped me many times on this awful journey I'm now made to take. And I thankyou from the bottom of my heart. X

I'm sorry to hear that you feel like that and I know that there was a particular trouble maker who was obviously determined to provoke you and was very unpleasant.

However, I also have to say that I missed allanah (had no idea why she hadn't been around recently) and was very pleased to see her posting again so was sad to see the two of you interacting negatively yesterday - unnecessarily, in my opinion.

I don't want to add fuel to the fire but I do wish that everyone could read their replies carefully before posting, realise that the written word can appear very brusque and try to think about how things could be interpreted.

This is the only social media I use and find it supportive and informative and invaluable for all things RA-related - and a lot besides - but these misunderstandings are exactly why I don't use any other sites. I usually move on from threads without responding when I see this sort of thing developing but just wanted to post this time to say that I would miss all of you so hope that you all stay.

I think it would be sad if you left as you have a lot to offer this group I always find your comments helpful and I appreciate you sharing your experiences. I didn’t see anything offensive or challenging in the reply you gave to the original post. I think you can’t be too careful when it comes to giving information out online. If people choose to sign up for one of these cards that’s fine, it’s there choice, but no one should feel uncomfortable for being cautious about something like this.
