Off topic - New grandson!

Thanks for your support over the last few months folks, it has and still is getting me through some dark days. But I'd like to share a moment of light....my daughter gave birth to a healthy 7lb 6oz baby boy on Friday, named William. He is absolutely gorgeous and has filled our hearts with joy. I remain optimistic that my meds will be changed on the 25th March so that I can be the grandmother he deserves.

Welcome to the world, William! There's nothing in the world so amazing as a new grandchild is there? I'm sure you will be an adored grandmother in no time. If you can't do the 'running around and being silly' you could be the adult who always has the time and patience for books, puzzles, cuddles and lego etc.

That's exactly who I intend to be Gnarli. One positive from the last horrible year is that I no longer work so am available for lots more time. Time is a precious commodity these days and I now have an abundance of it!

He deserves you as a gran with or without RA but fingers crossed you get the new medication. My granddaughter is exhausting, aged 4 talks non stop, counts up to 100 and wants to know everyone’s number then tells the next person how old you are. She terrifies me, will end up running the country or in prison. She told me “ did you know nanny that ice cream needs you to eat it or it melts” as a bid for ice cream last week at the park. We’ve been told she’s gifted and it’s not a surprise when she can add up and divide numbers, read and write. But it’s the questions I don’t know where the water goes when the tide goes out and you can’t see it. lol
