RA and Bradycardia ,,, again

This is not funny any more.

I had a bit of an episode yesterday and ended up in an ambulance and A&E. HR dropped, I felt weak, light headed, dizzy, shaky and cold, then a breathless and a tightness and mild pain in my chest, around my breastbone…. By the time the paramedic got me hooked up, it had all calmed down and HR was back to around 50. Bit of a scare actually. I was sent home after all tests showed I was ok, with notes to Cardiology which may speed up the referral.

Is it RA related? I think it might be.

Oh no - poor you! That must have been so scary 😨 I do hope that this episode speeds up your referral. I think more exploration needs to be done as our internal organs can be affected. However, it could be something else completely. Try not to worry, and go on with your normal day; keep well 🙏

Hi my hubby has it and it was a heart drug that they put him on ironically caused it. I had it when I got a bad infection, so there's lots of things as you no doubt know could cause it , so I hope you get your answers soon from the doctors xxx hope you have a better day xxx and get well soon x

Glad you got checked over, must have been really worrying for you having to go through this. Hope the cardiology referral happens quickly and they can see whats causing this.

Poor you, that must have been very scary but glad to hear all your tests were OK. I hope you get that speedy referral and they can say what actually caused it.

That must have been very frightening - glad you got sorted out and you are feeling a bit better - hopefully this episode will speed up a referral.
